Can I reserve the name of my LLC before forming the LLC?
Yes. If you are not sure about forming an LLC but want to prevent someone else from taking your LLC name before you decide, you can file with the Missouri Secretary of State an application to reserve the name, which will reserve the name for sixty days. You can file such application three separate times in order to reserve the name for a total of 180 days.
